I suppose that there is more beer-drinkers, than wine admirers, but I really want to find some recipe for brewing wine or even better the wine related book. It should not be, of course, some super secret recipe, but only the main processe used during the wine making. Just to get a look into.
TIA

Just look online, there are kits/juice/extract out there. Try Williams Brewing. I just mixed up a pinot noir kit from them...they seem to do it right. Grapes from California with care to reduce down for extract to try to keep all vital flavors/aromas...fun experiment.

Honestly, Id on't even know where to start. How would you go about brewing wine on your own? Is there a lot of equipment involved? I have a plum tree in my backyard, and I would like to make some plum wine at some point.

I found a how-to book on Amazon's website. It's called "The Complete Guide to Making Your Own Wine at Home: Everything You Need to Know Explained Simply. It's about $16 and qualifies for free shipping if you get your total order over $25. Hope it helps!

You know, if one must go about learning how to make his or her own brew by book, why not go to your local library to see if there are any books available on the subject? It's free.
