Most people I know when you are getting into anything European you are almost asking for their trade secret. No one I know is planning to cough up their home made pieces.

That's really not so true today clarkdart. Homebrewers and breweries alike offer their recipes or a reasonable facsimile there of to homebrewers everywhere. I'd be happy to offer up any of the recipes from my database to someone in need.
But I really don't see much reason to do so at this point for two reasons. The yeast that beer30somewhere was talking about is a Steam Beer yeast designed for a lager to be fermented just below optimum ale temps. This is an American style yeast made for an American style ingredients so the use of Noble hops and Euro grains would be pointless because the normal lager crispness will not be there. And the other reason not to dig into my library is that beer30somewhere has not logged onto this site for about 5 years now.

Two very good points you bring up. I'm also wondering about European style lagers though. Where did you obtain all your recipes from wild, if you don't mind me asking?

Not at all BrewersDelight. I've gleaned all of my recipes from brewers, head brewers, master brewers, brewing books, internet, and of course, from my own design.
