I received a couple of black berry jam jars for Christmas. One of these has seeds and one doesn't. I like the one without. Is it a big pain to take the seeds out?
Well I don't know much about jam other than eating it, so I could be wrong, but I don't think it'd be easy to get the seeds out. I'd think long and hard about it before making the attempt.
I would think that you might be able to skim the seeds after the jam is made, but before it sets up. I don't know how difficult it would be though. Blackberry jam is my favorite though.
I would think that taking the seeds out of blackberries might be a little difficult. Why don't you ask the person who gave it to you how to do it? I am sure they probably have some experience with it. I wish someone would give me homemade jam!
